Use simple jewellery making techniques to make this delicate summer seed bead bracelet. With three stands of seed beads, bugle beads and chain, this seed bead bracelet is lightweight and easy to wear all summer long!
You will need:
-fine chain
-seeds beads, I’m using size 10 beads in a opaque turquoise colour.
-bugle beads; I’m using 2mm beads in a frosted pinky peach.
-Beading wire
-Crimp beads
-Necklace ends
-Clasp
-Jump ring
-Chain nose pliers
Optional
-Beading mat
-Bead Stoppers
How to make:
1.Cut 2 x 20cm lengths of beading wire and feed both through a necklace end.
2.Add a crimp bead onto the short ends and towards the open side of the necklace end
3.Squash the crimp bead flat with your chain nose pliers.
4.Feed both of the long ends of beading wire through the last link at the end of a 20cm piece of chain.
5.Begin threading your seed beads onto one of the lengths of beading wire. I find it easiest to pour the small seed beads onto a beading mat and use the end of the beading with to pick them up like a needle. Once you have 15cm of beads, use a bead stopper, piece of washi tape or a clip to stop them coming off.
6.Thread on 15cm of your bugle beads onto the other piece of beading wire.
7.Remove the bead stopper or tape from the first wire, then take both beading wires through the other end of your chain, followed by a necklace end and crimp. Squash the crimp as before.
8.Thread the open hook on one of the necklace ends through the small loop on a trigger clasp and then form into a a teardrop shape with your pilers. Squeeze the two cups together to cover the crimp.
9.Repeat step 8, using a closed jump ring instead of a clasp.
10.And you are done! Wear your lightwe

Ah, such pretty colours! I’m still a bit of a novice at jewellery making so just about understood the steps! X
I love this site. They have wonderful photos and extremely easy step by step instructions to follow. Please keep making jewelry.
Thank you! Don’t worry, I have plenty more jewellery projects planned!
thanks! this is very helpful!
I was wondering where can I get those pretty beads?
The peach bugle beads are these: https://www.gjbeads.co.uk/peach-frosted-ab-glass-bugle-beads-9g-3mm-bu3-009f. Not sure where those turquoise ones were from but these are very similar, just a tiny bit smaller!

I get a lot of my beads online at Fire Mountain Gems. They have ridiculously reasonable prices, compared to what you’d find at a craft store. TOHO and Delica beads are the best to work with because they have uniform shape.
I just discovered this site…thank you so much! I love that you give a step and include a picture of 2 illustrating the step. Very easy to follow for a beginner like me!! Thank you so much!
Thanks Wendy. I always try to be as clear as possible with my instructions, so that’s great to hear!
Thank You For Showing This.. It Is So Hard To Do This On My Own. I am A Beginner. ❤️❤️
So happy your found this helpful! I know learning something new (like jewellery making) can feel tricky at first, but once you get through that it becomes second nature!
