Make and Fable is a friendly, happy and creative place, and I want to make all visitors to the website feel welcome and confident in how I work as well as being satisfied that any personal data collected is done so securely and legally.
At www.makeandfable.com, I use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet data such as how many visitors the site gets, how long they stay, what pages they visit. This information is collected in a way that does not identify anyone and I make no attempt to find out any personal details of site visitors from this information.
If you sign up to my ‘Making, Creating and Little Adventures’ monthly mail, or enter your email address to download a free guide or to gain access to a free mini course, I may use that information to contact you about other things. For example, to maintain accurate records, to let you know about exciting news or to send marketing about new products. You will be given options at sign up as to how you wish your information to be used, but yo can also update or unsubscribe at anytime buy using the link at the bottom of every email. You also have the legal right ‘to be forgotten’. This essentially means that in addition to being unsubscribed from being sent emails, I will inform my third party email provider, MailChimp, to delete your information.
All my emails are sent via the third party provider MailChimp. I gather information and statistics about email openings and clicks to help monitor and improve my mail content. All emails and data collected is stored by MailChimp and you can read their privacy statement here.
You are entitled to view, amend or delete any and all personal information that we hold. Please email emma@makeandfable.

Affiliate links, Advertising and Sponsored Content Disclosure
All content on make and Fable is written by me, Emma Jones and there is no one paying me to write or make craft tutorials. So sometimes, I collaborate with brands and companies in exchange for a fee, products, advertising or attending an event. This enables me to continue doing what I love and keep providing content, but I am always honest in any reviews. I will never recommend something that I do not personally use, like or agree with just because I am being paid. If a brand comes to me that I do not like, I will not work with them.
I also use affiliate links in my posts. This means that I directly link to shops, products and companies and if you make a purchase using that link, I will receive a small fee. Again, I only link to products that I have used in a tutorial or to companies an service that I personally like, agree with and use.
All affiliate links in tutorials and otehr posts are marked with * and it will always be clearly stated that a post contains affiliate links. Any gifted items, promotional products sent for review and other not paid for items will be clearly stated as AD or Gifted.
