Ever wanted to make your own cord or leather necklace, but not been sure how to attach a clasp? Or maybe you have tried to use cord ends, but found them fiddly to attach? Well look no further! I’m going to show you my simple way to use fold over cord ends to connect leather or cotton cord to whatever type of clasp you like. I have tried a few different ways of attaching them and found this is by far they easiest method, with minimal fuss.

I’m using oval shaped beads, mainly because I think they look like acorns (!), but also the thread sits nicely around the outside. But round beads would do just as well. You can use any type of cord as long as two lengths can thread through the holes in your beads at the same time. Read more

Its no secret that I love shrink plastic, and I have made quite a few projects using it over the years, but this time, I have outdone myself! This tutorial has been rolling around in my head for months and I and so glad to finally have made it a reality. If you have never used it before, shrink plastic is a thin plastic that you can colour and cut easily but when heated using a paper-crafting heat tool or in the oven, shrinks down and becomes thicker and tougher.
