These simple earrings are perfect for using up seed beads leftover from another project!
Seed beads are usually sold by weight, meaning you often end up getting more than you need. But then you only have a few left over, so what do you do with them? Make these simple bead and jump ring earrings! This is also a great beginner project which is great for practicing using pliers and jump rings.
You Will Need:
-14x Seed Beads (size 5,6 and 7 all work well)
-22x 6mm Jump Rings
-Pair of fishhook earring findings
-At least 1 pair, preferably 2 chainnose pliers
How To:
1.Add a jump ring to the earring finding. If you are not sure about the best way to open and close jump rings, take a look at this tutorial to get you started!
2.Open another jump ring, thread on a seed bead then attach to the closed ring you added in step 1.
3.Add another jump ring with a seed bead to the jump ring from step 1.
4.Add a jump ring without a seed bead
5.Add two jump rings each with a seed bead on to this ring.
6.Repeat steps 4 & 5 another two times, or more if you want longer earrings!
7. To finish, repeat steps 4 & 5, but only add a single jump ring with a bead instead of two.
8.Repeat all steps to make the second earring and you are done! You can also use this pattern to make bracelets and necklaces, just make longer chains and add a clasp.
