You will be guided, step by step to creating a mini hanging rainbow decoration using five different macrame knots. Each stage and knot is described using written instructions, clear colour photographs, plus there is a link to videos for each of the five macrame knots!
It is a perfect stash- buster project as you only need at most 6-8 metres (depending on yarn thickness) of any one colour!
To complete the macrame rainbow you will need the following materials:
- Five rainbow colours of yarn; cotton in aran or worsted weight is recommended, but easily adapted to other weights.
- 1.5 meters of 5-8mm rope or thick cord
- Small piece of felt or fabric for the back
- Needle and sewing thread
The finished rainbow will measure approx 12cm or 5 inches across.
